this was something I was working on to see how well I could do a cartoon character with just studying skeletons,movement, and so on. My first step was studying the skull.

I checked its features, how parts go together and all. I also studied the whole skeleton (on the sides and the scanner cut part of the one below.....sorry). and I also studied how the skin went over the body of the tiger. Ironically I used tiger references to help me understand a bit more of the saber-tooth's anatomy.the one at the bottom left was done in my imagination to see how the skeleton would be like standing off. Sorry again for cropping it off but unfortunately the scanner can take only so much I'm just glad parts of this was able to get on.
