Biography: Metis is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being born just a day before Melkey, the last of the 2nd line of 1/2 mermaids was born. When Metis was a baby, Juni & Palutena went onto discover that from the start, Metis possessed some sort of telekinetic ability as she would sometimes make her bottle float while her parents were attempting to prepare it. The suspicions were fully confirmed by the time Metis hit age 13 and the display of PSI came into full display. Palutena proceeded to train Metis how to control her PSI power as if it were magic, and Metis soon grew to fully master her power within months. At age 19, she decided to take a trip with her father to the realm of Earthbound (Mother) to enhance her PSI abilities even further, and eventually gained even more understanding of them than before. One day however, Metis found herself eaten alive by a large worm and was locked inside of it for a long while before her father Juni got it to spit her out. However, instead of feeling traumatized, Metis felt... Very aroused by the sensation and she soon became a vore fantatic as a result. Nonetheless, despite this transition, Metis is always eager to lend a helping hand whenever she's asked to. As one might expect from those raised by Juni & Palutena, Metis is a very kind & friendly girl, always treating everyone as equals. Like the goddess she is named after, she also very wise despite her young age of 19 years. This however, does not mask the fact that Metis is also the most shameless of the 1/2 mermaids as she is always wearing clothes that reveal a lot of skin like booty-shorts, tube tops, and thong bottoms to name a few. She is also a hopeless vore fanatic, always eager to get into the belly of a predator that will swallow and/or absorb her in one go. She still enjoys the feeling of sinking in quicksand, but prefers soft vore a little more. She does not like the idea of Hard Vore however, as to her: Being eaten in one sitting is more pleasing. She is also not fond of dresses as they, as she puts it: "Do not reveal one's curvaceous body very much". Owns the biggest collection of G-String thongs.
Abilities: Being 1/2 mermaid, Metis is capable of taking on her mermaid form whenever she enters the water. As with her other 1/2 mermaid siblings, she is an adept swimmer and can easily outpace even the best Olympic swimmers. In battle, Metis tends to fight via fisticuffs, perferring to use weapons like gauntlets, claws, and even greaves. If these do not get the job done, she has access to a number of offensive PSI skills, but she also has a handful of support PSI skills as well. However, one odd trait of hers is her mysterious immunity to digestion of all kinds. Metis is able to survive in the belly of a creature that would happily make a meal of humanoids, and still live to tell the tale after she manages to escape. She starts with the following gear & PSI abilities.
Leather Gloves: Offense +7. Simple padded leather gloves that protect the hands from getting bruised.
Bikini Armor: Defense +9. A very revealing bikini that doesn't provide much cover, but it works in providing protection at least.
Copper Bracelet: Defense +9. A simple copper bracelet.
PK Swamp: Metis's signature PSI attack. It creates a bottomless swamp of quicksand that entraps enemies and sinks them until they go under, which causes instant defeat regardless of health. It can be used on allies to protect them from harm, and it is also used to unearth chests or presents from spots that look marshy. This comes in Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Sigma, and Omega levels. How soon an enemy disappears depends on the level with alpha taking up to 10 turns in sinking the enemy fully, and going up to less than 5 with Omega. Larger enemies like Ego Orbs always disappear instantly regardless of level used.
PK Fire: A fire type PSI attack that targets 1 row of enemies. Metis can grab the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Omega ranks.
PK Freeze: An Ice Type PSI attack that hurts 1 enemy with ice. Metis can learn the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Omega ranks with her version of the Omega being able to target all enemies instead of just 1.
PK Thunder: An electric PSI attack. Metis has better skill of hitting her foes with this than others do, even if it's only one enemy present. Again, Metis can get all 4 ranks of the move.
PK Starstorm: The most powerful PSI attack. Metis learned this PSI attack while training her mind under a very starry sky. She only has one variation, but the fact it can do upwards of 1,000 damage makes up for it.
Lifeup: Heals an ally for a certain amount of HP. Metis can obtain all 4 ranks of this move with her Omega variant being able to heal 100% HP to all allies instead of a set amount. This uses 5% more PP in exchange as a result.
Healing: Cures a varying status ailment. Metis is able to obtain all 4 ranks of this move.
Shield: Creates a shield that protects allies & either reduces all physical damage by half, or reflects damage back at the enemy. Metis can pick up all 4 ranks.
PSI Shield: Creates a shield that protects one or all party members & either nullifies the effects of, or reflects PSI attacks back at the enemy. It also works against magic thanks to training. Metis can learn all 4 ranks.
Brainshock: Makes enemies feel strange. Metis is able to learn both ranks of this move.
