Putting artist info first this time because guys, I am so so proud to receive this drawing. I have been a fan of
Etrii 's art for a while, and I have been especially impressed with their traditional works. So imagine my delight when they picked Shasta to draw as the subject of their traditional sketch raffle. I was indeed freaking honored to be chosen. And goodness I have to say Vampi captured her look just perfectly. I am so, so happy.
PLEASE go check out the original here!!!
This field is a bit more barren than the ones Shasta is used to. All the ones around her are usually lush and growing tall!
But while that is true in the relative sense, it would be wrong to call this place barren in general. Not long after Shasta arrived, the local butterflies were attracted to her bright colorings, and accompanied her on her walk. And once she looked more closely, she found blooming flowers! Small and young, but signs of a thriving ecosystem! Perhaps they bloomed in reaction to Shasta's arrival?
Regardless, with Shasta lingering in the area, and appreciating the smaller signs of growth as compared to the abundant ones that she is used to, this place will certainly become rife with growth very soon, blessed by the magic in her presence.
