Last year I got over ArtFight and though it would be fun to join but with so full art related to-do-list it's not possible. I managed to shorten my to-do-list and as kind of reward to myself I've joined ArtFight this year. The goal is to draw even more and also to finish ideas and sketches into picture I would dare to upload, which is something I struggle with A LOT. I keep aiming for perfection without even thinking about it so whole June I was working on references of my characters, totally stressed that they won't be finished on time... well, it was again that moment I was taking things way too seriously when nobody else do. Three days from start of ArtFight (it's July challenge) I feel so proud about beating more my own struggles than I was hoping for after whole month! Imperfect or work-in-progress references. Start to prepare myself before the event actually starts. Draw attack EVERY day (until today, woo!). Draw more species (humans, I'm looking at you). Now I'm really curious about the rest of month :D

I noticed many artists joined this year for the first time. And some are there for more years and know how things are running :D it's cool to meet there and enjoy surprise-art!
