Haha yep! In general my world isn't as polluted due to the native people's closeness to nature

Sort of reminds me of the ship graveyard in Staten Island, though it isn't a mothball fleet, most of the ships are half sunk in the harbor by now. I remember reading about it in the Weird New York book I got a little while ago. I have a place based off it that I plan to put in something sooner or later though.

Yeah I based a ship salvage yard in my world on it. This sort of dirty grimy place where scrappers spend all day cutting up iron boats with anything that can't be salvaged left to rot. There would be piles of old ruined lifeboats, furniture, safety equipment and anything too far gone to be sold.
Thats sort of an underlying theme in my world, this underclass that does nothing by scavenge and recycle things for a living
