I got this adorable little badge from Sepia, at Furnal Equinox 2016. I really love the innocence on that little face, and would you ever believe I was that lean pre-pandemic? ;-p When cons begin again, I’m very much looking forward to reusing this one. ^__^

I can wholeheartedly recommend it! I'd say it's preferable to go with someone else, or to know that someone you're acquainted with will be at the con. Of course, you can easily make friends at a con, but better to share in the silliness with someone else from the off. :)

You know, I've been getting that question from a few people lately. I originally conceived of Dai as being depicted exclusively in uniform, an officer always having to look sharp and all that. I do have a couple of images of my Shep in more casual attire, and will probably get more in future. But I rather like the smart look.
