Contemplating at the Café
Won't lie...I'm still kind of hurt emotionally, but I do the best I can everyday trying to overcome the pain in my heart though it gets harder. I did a lot of thinking for the passed couple of weeks...and I know I let those who came through for me, who depended on me...I let them down. Even with a simple apology or coming up with ways to make up for the things I did wrong to cause pain, it wasn't enough...sighs. I don't know...I've tried...maybe I don't deserve such wonderful people in my life...maybe I do deserve to be replaced for someone better...those are the thoughts running in my head, as I drink my mocha while trying to keep myself entertained with my phone...
This artwork is based on my real life experiences I'm going through to this day. Background shot was taken at my favorite Café joint.
I'll keep my chin up and hope one day things will be different and my current situation gets better soon. Here's to hopin'.

Hey, (I wheel myself next to your seat) I’m sorry you’re going through all this. But if these people keep making you feel like you’re always letting them down, they’re either doing it unintentionally, or they are not your true friends. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to speak ill of your other friends, just the ones that keep making you feel worthless. They’re the ones who don’t deserve you as a friend. I know you probably want to keep giving them chances and seeing only the good in them, trust me I can sympathize with you there, but you don’t need people who keep treating you like crap in your life. True friends understand what you’re going through and would be patient with you. (Me, Holidaypup, Wesker, Lulu, Plasma Fang, I’m sure there are others in your friends list) But stop hanging around the ones that treat you like you’re a failure and don’t even apologize to you for that. You deserve better friends than that. I love you, bro. Your true friends love you too. (I hug you)
Beautiful art as always. Few things like contemplating life over a fresh mocha and enjoying your favorite spot. The expression as well theme come through very well here and is masterfully executed so much props fluff!
All I will say is that imjeff is right, although sometimes after things have happened it might take a while for different people to bounce back since not everyone heals the same. Your apologies mean a lot, however sometimes simply stating regret is not going to open every door, or it may not at first. I'm not saying you or anyone in particular is in the wrong specifically. Also hopefully you are able to distance yourself from people that make you feel like crap or feel down...but that has to be a choice. Sometimes you have to fake it until you make it and be responsible for your own happines. Sometimes its a very difficult process that demands getting out there and trying different things, meeting different people, and most importantly an openness and a willingness to work at friendship, not only on our own terms but by the terms set by both sides and conjointly agreed upon❤
