I used a ref because I was struggling all day yesterday to draw a dragon. I used to draw them all the time, but I just kinda lost my touch it seemed. Even now, I'm now thrilled with his face. It's ok. I do have a step-by-step guide book to help me draw them, which I got regardless of my history with them to get better. So this is a minor step back. I usually draw wyrms/lungs, but I want to draw western dragons and wyverns more.

So enjoy my practice piece. This will become an OC of mine, but the pose and body style are not from my own brain.
