Donatello in the near future is dying, an incurable disease is spreading through his body and his time is short. However, he doesn't face the inevitable alone as he has his lab assistant, caregiver and will they/won't they partner Gayla; a semi-aquatic alien who he joined up within Dimension-X. He's cynical, she's happy.

His story will be the third part of the ongoing Severed main book and it will feature Donnie, Slash, an Area 51 alien, Krang, Gayla, and a whole lot of interdimensional travel.
