Just, everything's so cliché. I mean this in the best of ways, but anthro pigs and sheep and such, it's too much. Too 'straight-to-DVD' cliché. I know you can do better than that, like I can't seem to get my head round how much realism your Leozar has but yet he seems to be in a completely unrealistic world.
I mean he's a Sci-Fi character and truthfully, if I were you I'd just forget about all this Lovesick Prince stuff because... Well, every writer has his off day. I remember having several things I'd started and never finished because I knew they weren't that great. I think you should just start again with something new, rather than shaking a dead story until something valuable flops out of its pockets.
You can obviously choose to ignore my advice or you take it in and think about it. It's up to you, but I personally think that you'd be better off starting anew.
