so, i'm not going to write a story with this one because i'll be too tempted to get into the core of the plot. so instead, have some introductions.

to the left we have Dr. Abbot Wallace William Abbecroft II. he's pointing at some super-secret, super-important notes!

in the middle is his wife, Mrs. Victoria Abbecroft II. she's a strong, intelligent woman who hounded Abbott until he married her!

to the right is their assistant, "Peter" Kha'ketra W'mach, a Deinonychus antirrhocus (or, at least, the evolutionary descendant of).

despite his peers warnings Dr. Abbecroft and his wife decided to go on an exploration mission in 1848. his father was the only one who knew the location of their eventual destination, but none of them ever returned.

not shown in the picture is Marriane Abbecroft, Abbott and Victoria's daughter. at the time of their disappearance she was eight, and was raised most of her life by a nomadic clan of hadrosaurs.
