Princess and Clarise don't often see eye-to-eye. This is mostly due to how the two behave, not only with each other, but with other people. Where as Clarise would be willing to do her own work, Princess is of the mindset of having others do her work for her. Where as Clarise treats others as equals, Princess looks down on others, viewing them as servants. Where Clarise would be honest about her intentions, Princess would be manipulative and coerce others with cuteness. For example, A few times in Preschool, Princess used cuteness to convince the teacher/babysitter to get her a few extra cookies, irritating Clarise who didn't even get one.

The two are often considered polar opposites, especially when it comes to their attire and diaper usage. Clarise, being incontinent, wears diapers for a reason, but loves every minute of it, never ashamed to wear them. Princess, however, feels disgusted to have to wear her cloth pull-up diapers, and though only partially incontinent, is working to potty-train herself so that she doesn't need to wear them. (Though she does see the advantage of poofy diapers making her look cuter.) Sometimes, the arguments between the two go so long that neither notice their soiled pampers until the end of it, (much to Clarise's enjoyment of Princess's dismay as the two get changed.)

Nevertheless, the two have their differences, and often display them to each other, forming a rivalry.
