I sorta had a continued lore of these, worded in a way to easily shoehorn into the forgotten realms and other DnD settings, but there's only so many playable/npc furry races in those books for it to start making less sense as they went on. (Still trying to figure out who/what Askew is, and I might keep it a mystery for humorous reasons.)

The CR rating's a little low for how strong the beastie is in retrospect, especially if it's preferred state is the opposite of the other Oozes in the Monster Manual, but the idea is fresh enough on paper.
