ok, i have tons! how can i make my lines smoother? how can i make my own brushes? where can i get more brushes? what is the best way to color different color per layer or different sections a layer?

For smoother lines you can use a fine brush and the blur tool or you can use the burn tool to darken them and smooth them over with the blur tool. To make your own brush (for fur or whatever) you make a small image with a transparent background and then hit edit define brush. You can find brushes free on the net. Either will work I usualy use a single layer for colors (mostly because I blend alot) and one or more layers for a background

Ok that you i will ask if i have more, and what is the burn tool and where is it on the tool bar?

Do you know were the dodge tool is? it is sort of 3/4 of the way down of th right side. If you click the dodge tool you can change it to burn tool
