Everything was a mess to Arthur, or as he believed when he was done on a show he just finished. It didn’t go out perfectly as he dreamed of from the start. For starters, he missed a few lines during the scene that he thought that he had right. Then that little dance was all mixed up and wasn’t in the right order. Then the worst part was that he was too thin and skinny to lift up anything heavy, like a barrel or a large box. It was embarrassing to have this happen right in front of the entire crowd. He sighs depressedly as he walks to his changing room. “I’m a failure.” He says, giving up on all hope. In his room, he slumps on his chair, looking at the mirror to show the reflection of the sadness on his face. He felt like the only thing left to do was to quit and never be on stage again.
But then Arthur hears a ding coming from behind him. He turns around in fear as he wasn’t expecting that ding to come out of nowhere. Right in front of him was a machine. Not just any machine, it was a fortune teller. A talking robot wearing a turban that tells you your future. Arthur doesn’t remember when he got this fortune teller or who gave it to him in the first place. It was like it placed itself there. “What is this doing here?” He asks himself, standing up from his chair and walking up to it. There was a coin slot right next to the start button, only twenty five cents for a wish. Arthur digs through his pockets, pulling out two quarters. When he first saw this machine, he doubts that his wishes will ever come true. But still, he puts his first quarter into the slot and presses start.
The machine said something in some sort of strange language and Arthur wasn’t in the right mood to listen to this fortune teller robot. After the robot was finished speaking, he took a long sigh. “You know what, I wish I had a freshly baked cherry pie right on my desk.” After he said that, the robot’s eyes began to glow and say more words that he couldn’t understand. A few seconds later, he sniffed something very familiar. He jerks his head around to his desk, amazed at what was there. A freshly baked cherry pie sits on that desk, steam coming from the top as if it had just come out of an oven a second ago. “What…..” He became stunned, feeling like he was hallucinating or something. He goes over to his desk and puts his paws on the edge of the bowl, quickly moving his hands back after it burned him. “Oh man, that’s….” He turns back to the fortune teller, now believing that this machine had just given him a wish. His luck might just turn because of this.
He goes back to the fortune teller, putting his last quarter into the slot and presses start. He waited until the robot was finished speaking and made this wish that he might, or might not, regret in the future. “I wish I was a very big, popular husky.” He said, speaking with happiness and excitement in his tone. The robot speaks again and Arthur’s tail wagging crazily as if someone told him that he was a good boy. After it was done talking, Arthur was feeling strange in his body like something inside was transforming. “Nrgh….wait...is this….” He couldn’t speak well with the feeling of his body being tight in his clothes, like he was growing into a giant. He huffs and whines, watching his muscles appear inside his sleeves and pants. “M-my clothes!” He wasn’t expecting it to tear his clothes up. Slowly hearing the seams splitting apart as his buttons and straps stretch to their breaking point. “Nnnnrff! P-please don’t break!” But it was too late, his clothes weren't going to handle more of his growing muscle mass. His sleeves ripped right in half, exposing his swelling arms. It seems like the machine had misunderstood his wish since he said big in body size instead of fame. Now he can’t stop growing and is a bit scared. The buttons on his shirt popped one at a time, exposing that majestic six pack on his belly. “Oh come on! This shirt was expensive.” He said with a whine. He also grew taller, from being short to as tall as a basketball player. His belt popped right off from his growing hips and butt, leaving his pants to be the last piece of clothing to be ripped as it bursted into scraps. He was now in his underwear, the same ones with his face on it. He blushes redly, thinking that they’ll laugh at him for this. “Well...at least no one is here to watch this.” But seconds passed by and he grew even bigger and buffer. That’s when he started to like it. “Hey, this isn’t so bad after all.” He flexes off his muscles as he grows so tall that his head hits the ceiling. It then stops seconds later as he was a giant buff husky in his underwear. “Wow, I feel so….” He flexes off in the mirror that he had to crouch down from with his big thick thighs. “Strong and big!” He flexes more of his muscles watching them bulge. “Oh yeah, now this is what being a big fur is about. Now I feel ready to take on my roles with this body!”
He looks down at the fortune teller machine, patting it on the head like it was his pet. “Thank you for this incredible body.” Not fitting through the door, he makes a giant hole on the wall, shaped like a buff husky. He was ready for his part again, but this time with bigger changes and a lot more confidence.
