This was digital. Rebel XTi with a little in-camera adjusting to brighten the colors.

Funny, a friend and I were just talking today about how creepy clowns can be, and here's this image to prove it. All it needs is for you to photoshop a skull's toothy visage behind the peeling paint to complete the ghastly effect.

That is the single creepiest clown I have ever seen, including Pennywise. The pursed lips, the evil eyebrows, the cross-hairs on his eyes... plus he appears to be wearing boxing gloves.

The message seems to be "Smile... or the clown punches you silly."
