I just want to say thank you to you both, you both deserve all the happiness in the world, and the rest of my Skype Fur Pals, you are amazing. Thanks for all the watches, and I hope you enjoy. The two furs sat down on the snow-covered platform of the bus station. Through the night sky, only distant city lights could be seen. The two young men were silent, and both looked as though they were uneasy, as if they were nervous...
“You OK, Mitch?” the husky asked.
“Hmm?...Oh, ya...I'm fine, Lazy” the dingo shepard said in a distant voice.
The two sat quietly, waiting for the train to arrive...
Mitch was a very shy young man. Only the age of 17, he was not very open to socializing, but he had a knack for understanding how people felt. He lived with his mother, father, and older brother in a small town called Aiken (South Carolina). Being from a conservative family, telling either of his parents that he was gay was going to be next to impossible.
Evan, on the other hand, was an 18 year old who was always ready to speak his mind. Nothing made him afraid to stand up for himself. Lazy, as his other friends knew him, was born and raised near Atlanta, Georgia, and was raised by his mother and father, both of whom were never open to the idea of homosexuality.
The two young men never knew the other existed, and a serious relationship was the furthest thing from their minds.
One night, their wolf friend Keto, a very popular gay fur artist, hosted a steam on his own personal website. Both Mitch and Lazy, entered the chat, and began to talk...and talk...and talk...
The two furs realized that they had more in common than either one first realized. In personality and heart, both were complete opposites, yet were identical.
A few months passed, and the glorious friendship that had started to bud, bloomed into a loving relationship. Though their parents prevented them from seeing each other, and no matter how in despair they were, they pursued their love through the magical wonder of the world...The Internet...FA and SKYPE. Their secret romance, unbeknownst to them, was not going to be a secret for long. Both of their parents found out about their secret romance, and both felt deeply ashamed and angry to hear that their son was gay. The parents prevented them from speaking to each other.
“What are we going to do? I feel like there is a hole in my heart” Mitch typed, almost in tears.
“We'll run away together.” Lazy typed back with a heart that was beating 100 miles an hour.
There was silence for a moment on the computer. Neither one typed a single message to the other.
“...What? How can we?” Mitch typed, nervous at the thought of leaving his family.
“We can get a train ticket, well go to California and ask Zeric for help, whatever it takes...I just want to be with you...” Lazy typed back. He was nervous that he was going to have to give up all that he stood for in order to achieve happiness. All of their friends gave massive amounts of support and ideas, but no matter what, they were both scared that they would never see each other. The thought of that entering their minds depressed them both, and in turn, depressed everyone in the Skype chat, the one thing that they both hated to do.
The two lovers waited until December, the one time that they had a clear shot to be together. It was snowing. They waited until this night, to finally be together. They had run away, and met up in Atlanta City. They went to the bus station, hoping to get a quick ride to California to start their lives together.
“Sorry boys” the fox receptionist said to them “We won't be able to get another bus out here till tomorrow morning, and a bus going to California will be here tomorrow at midnight...” she said, very softly and with a friendly toned voice.
“What are we going to do now? We can't exactly go back of out family. They know were gay, and if they found out what we did...I don't even want to think of what could happen...”Mitch said, sounding chocked up, now feeling more scared than ever.
“We'll figure it out. We have each other” Lazy said reassuringly, giving Mitch a firm, friendly hug.
“Excuse me, gentlemen” the receptionist said, trying to get the boys' attention. “I hope you don't mind, but I kind of overheard your predicament... I hope you both don't mind, but I would like to help. There is a motel that you both could stay at until tomorrow, and I could help you get to California.” she said.
“Thanks...” Mitch said
“Why would you want to help us when we don't even know who you are?” Lazy asked in a mellow and concerned tone of voice.
“Lets just say, that you aren't the only ones who've tried to make a different future for themselves” the fox said. She, too, left her entire life to be with the one that she truly loved.
“Just go to the manager of the motel, and sell them that Samantha sent them another couple. They'll know what it means” Samantha said with a smile. She wished the boys well, and walked off into the dark snow.
That night, Lazy and Mitch spent their first night together. What they did cannot be explained as anything more than what anyone does in the arms of the one they truly love. They were up all night long, and slept most of the day away. Later on in the evening, Samantha came to check on them, and see if they needed any food. She handed the boys $700, and told them that their bus was paid for.
“Samantha, I have no idea how we can ever repay you.” Mitch said with a smile too big for his face.
“Just come back and visit, or email me once in a while” she said with a grin. She handed the boys two scarves, some bus tickets, and a map of the bus schedules.
Midnight came quickly, and the two boys now waited for the bus. The city lights shone through the dark winter night, and as they waited, Mitch put his head on Lazy's chest.
“Are you sure we are doing the right thing?” Mitch asked.
“Actually, no” Lazy responded looking down at Mitch with endearing eyes. “But as long as I have you in my life, I am willing to go anywhere. You mean the world to me, and nothing will ever change that.”
The bus pulled up. It was covered in snow, and the boys carefully picked up what little luggage they had, and entered the bus. They handed their passes to the bus driver, and walked to the back of the bus. The two lovers fell asleep in each others arms, and did not awake until they had left the state. They never looked back on the strife that they had faced. The only thing they could see was how happy they were together. Nothing could tear them apart after that, and nothing ever would. But how does the story end?, you may ask. Well, those pages, I cannot fill. Their life is still being lives, and their lover, is still being written.
I hope that that story was well written. Please leave your comments, give me private messages, or Skype me later. Thank you Mitch and Lazy for being my inspiration, and I hope youve enjoyed it.
Skype ya later.
