Green wants a potion, but stealing and drinking it is not the best way to get one.

Green is a curious lizalfos. He’s a green lizalfos with a long tail, horns, and a brown satchel on his side. He was just walking down the sidewalk, heading to the grocery store until he spotted a strange store. It reads, The Potion Store and knowing Green, he was very interested in checking it out. He opens the door, triggering a bell to ring. The place looked a bit spooky with the Halloween decorations placed around the room with shelves full of potions. There were fire potions, teleportation, speed, and strength. But the prices on these things were very high, one hundred for one bottle. He didn’t have that kind of money besides one gold coin.
He kept looking around the room, hoping to find a potion that wasn’t that expensive for him. In the middle of the room, there was this special potion that stood out from the rest. It was light blue, sparkly, and had a golden title on the bottom. It reads, The Flight Potion (Very Rare). Green is curious as to why it was rare and what makes it very special. Judging by the title, he believes that it can make you fly into the sky. Green really wanted this potion in his own hands, but there was a price for it. Ten thousand dollars, no way he could afford that. None of the potions were in his range of purchasing, they were just too expensive.
Brainstorming, the only thing he could think of was to steal it. He looks around the room, seeing if the owner or another customer was in the store. When there was not, he took his chances. Green walks up to the bottle on the stand and grabs it. Luckily it didn’t set off any alarms that could mess up anything. Green shakes the bottle gently before popping off the cork like a wine bottle. He takes one sniff inside of the bottle, he couldn’t smell a scent from this potion. All of the other ones have a unique scent but this one was very strange. It would be dangerous for him to drink it, but he wanted to fly in the air so he chugs it down, leaving nothing left in that bottle. He placed it back on the stand and waited for the effects to happen.
He waits for a few moments, looking at the clock hanging on the wall. “When is this potion going to work?” He silently says to himself. Then just a few moments later, he was feeling a stomach ache coming on. “Nrgh! Is...this..part of the….potion?” He put his hands on his belly, still groaning, and knew that something was off when he could feel his hands separating from each other. He looks down, in surprise to witness his torso blowing up like a balloon. “Huh!? W-what’s going on!?” He pokes his belly with his finger, nothing but air was inside. It was swelling up at a quick pace that Green didn’t have enough time to react to what was going on with him. His belly, back, butt, and sides were just a round sphere, inflating bigger and bigger. “Help! Someone!” He shouts, trying to get someone’s attention. His fingers and toes went into a popping rythmic beat as they blew up into balloon sausages, making it very impossible to move. His legs and arms puffed up into giant balloon sausages, also making it impossible to move. So he was stuck in the store, immobile and still blimping. His cheeks and neck filled up with air, useless for him to speak. “MFFH!” He muffles. He was just one round balloon, his arms and legs sinking into his round body. He then feels his bloated toes lift off from the ground, flying up towards the ceiling.
His body made bouncy sounds, going up and down from the ceiling. He couldn’t wiggle his hands nor his feet. What’s worse is that the door opens, the same one he entered because the bell rang before the door closes. He can hear footsteps coming towards him. “Well, well, well….” A male voice said. He can only move his eyes since his head was unmovable at the moment. “It seems like I caught myself a thief.” Green could only see part of this person, wearing a suit and tie and looks like a cat, a black cat. “Trying to steal my rejected potion, are you?” He asks with a chuckle.
“MFFH!” Green keeps muffling, pleading for help.
“If you’re asking me to deflate you, no can do. The only way to set you free is to pop you, and I’m not just going to let you get away with this.” He goes over to the countertop, grabbing some rope. Then he grabs a step ladder from the closet and places it right underneath Green. “I believe that you’ll be a good advertisement balloon for me, I promise not to let you float up into space.” He wraps the rope around one of Green’s bloated foot before he pulls Ice down. “Just stay still while I do some work on you.”
An hour later, Green was outside. He was floating right above the store with paint on his belly that reads, 50% off on invisibility potions. “Mmmmfhhh.” He muffles, grunting as he was mad that he was being used as an advertising blimp. He still couldn’t do anything other than float around helplessly as people from below started taking pictures. But that’s what happens when you steal and drink a potion and he clearly regrets all of it. Let’s just hope that the black cat would eventually let him go one day and ban him from the store.
