BWF tells me it's going to be a total overhaul of the song. He's aiming to have something totally in a different style from the original Lobo by the time he's done. Can't wait to hear it.

I'm still in the drafting stage, but I planned on starting recording in earnest after a couple of false starts earlier this evening. Then a protracted thunderstorm hovered over my neighborhood long enough to knock out the electricity, so that pretty much shot my night -- I have to go to work early tomorrow, and soon I'll be in bed. This being hurricane season and me living near the eastern seaboard in what has to be one of the most scorching summers I've ever experienced, I'm guessing the next couple of months are gonna be a royal pain in the ass to live through weather-wise. My skin has endured a little bit of sun poisoning this year. Not pleasant.

I'll try again tomorrow...

After my other plans are out of the way, though...
