Great story, Skippy! This story reminded me too much from my actual school years because I was terrible at math and was focused on video games instead. Even worse, there were no edutainment games around that time to save me from getting poor grades in math class.
But thankfully I was good at some classes such as English, Science, and my personal favorite, art class.

I had adequate access to edutainment when I was about 5 to 9 years old, but they came mostly in the form of old CGA (4-color) games. I was not bothered about the color variety, the content got me hooked. I had titles like Apogee's Word Rescue, Europress' Fun School series, Lander's Spellbound and Henrietta games and many more. To be honest with you Sonic's Schoolhouse was not one of them. I could go on forever about my experiences with those. Even though we live in an age of smartphones and tablets which focus more on graphics, I can tell you that the old stuff from the late 80s and early 90s was much more effective at teaching.
