We shot parlor pistols at beer cans one evening XD ..Went through like 300+ rounds between the two of us lol

A relative of mine invited us over to do a little target practice because Dee had never shot any firearms before. The bullets we were using were .22 cal, and only had a primer charge behind them, making them low velocity. Our targets were about 20 feet from us, and one time when i shot at a rubber target, the bullet ricocheted back and hit me in the thigh. It was kind of alarming to be hit by the bullet i had just fired, but by the time it had bounced back and hit me, the bullet was going slow enough that it just felt like someone had chucked a pebble at me :P I think it was because the bullets were so low velocity that it came back at me though, because any more of a charge and it would have embedded in the rubber target like they usually do when i have target practiced before. If i had been wearing pants rather than shorts, i doubt i would have even felt the ricochet lol

that's still kind of scary too X D. but it's a good thing you had the velocity too low to really do anything to you.
