Actually, I don't like to brag on the fact that I've got myself vaccinated now. ^_^;; The truth is that I want more and more people to get their own vaccine shots as well. Let's work hard to keep the pandemic under control, people!
Also, this (June 30th) was actually my second vaccine shot. My first shot was last June 9th. I was meaning to write a journal entry about it, but I forgot. x_x I guess that I just don't want to make a massive deal out of it, considering that not everyone got their vaccine shots just yet. It's not something worth bragging about and rubbing people's faces with.
Plus, I got miffed because I ended-up getting my vaccine first before my parents got theirs. I was hoping for my parents to get vaccinated first, because my parents are elderly people, and elderly people should be of higher priority, because they're more susceptible to the virus than the youngsters. Due to some political snafu here in my country, my parents ended-up getting their first vaccination appointments on June 16th, one week after mine. They'll be getting their second vaccination shot three months from now, due to them getting a different type of vaccine from mine.

Great job, man! My company's insurance (a food distribution company) sponsored and paid for my vaccines. My first vaccine had a tiny needle, so I was fine.
My SECOND shot, however... the needle was BIG! Ouch, and I felt feverish the next day (as expected) but I'm glad both you and I got them.

I admit, I wasn't going to mention what kind of vaccine I got, because there will always be people out there who claim that certain vaccines are not as effective, or even just placebo, etc.. Brand loyalty can be insane at times. The one that I got is the Pfizer one. My country wasn't so specific on which vaccine to use, and just uses whichever that happens to be in stock on that time (but usually defaults to Pfizer if possible).
Welcome to the team, just remember, keep a mask handy as there are others who: A. Aren't vaccinated yet, and resistance can still make you a vector if you're not infected but, sadly carrying it. Or worse. B (Anti-vaxxer/anti-maskers who figure "mandates over. It's safe!")
I got my own second shot about a week ago. I heard all sorts of things about side effects, but I barely had a day of a sore arm each time! \(^_^)/
