Commentary for June 30, 2021:
A lot of this page is really just namedropping characters to give a few hints as to who is doing what these days. Remember, this is set about a decade after the events of Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 and a lot happened in the intervening years; not everyone who was once a Freedom Fighter is still an active member of the team. We saw in Chapter 9 that Antoine is Sally’s chief of security, but we haven’t seen Bunnie, Rotor, Tekno, Johnny, Amy, or any of the other Freedom Fighters who are active as of season 2 in Vol. 1, to say nothing of Sonic himself.
And that brings me to my next point. Readers who read Eon’s Comic back in the day may remember something that happened to Sonic towards the end of that series. I shan’t reveal it here, because I don’t want to risk spoiling things, but I will advise any legacy readers to forget what you remember about where Eon’s Comic left off with Sonic. When the story gets there in Vol. 1 (which is a remake of Eon’s Comic), things will happen much as they did originally, but the outcome won’t be quite the same. In any case, we aren’t going to get there for a long time and Chapter 13 will shed more light on those events and we will reach Chapter 13 long before we get to... whatever season that’ll be in...? Maybe season 10...? I honestly haven’t written Vol. 1 plans for that far ahead yet.
In any case, in Vol. 2, Chapter 13, you’ll get to see the current status of the Freedom Fighters, who’s an active member, who’s retired, who’s no longer with us, et cetera. Hopefully Chapter 13 will come next year, but I’m not fool enough to make any promises like that. Honestly, this chapter has been a slog and we’re not even halfway through it yet.

I haven't read much of Vol. 2 at all but I cant help but wonder how long it has been since the now Fem Tails worked with past Sonic on Little Planet, or if Fem Tails hasn't gotten there yet.
That declaration of 'He Will be there' reminded me of the meeting.
For those confused, there is a part in the Sprite comic aka Vol 1 where Sonic chases a Techno mage and Fang to the Little Planet future and he meets the Future and Female Tails. What im wondering is if that meeting has happened for Tails yet. Sonic shows his support and agrees tl keep his Future Knowledge secret while also confirming that he will 'Always be there' when people need him.

This scene is set on June 25, 3242. The future section from the story you're thinking about was set on June 24, 3243. So it has not yet happened for Tails here.
And for the record, Tails has always been female, it's just that the younger version in Vol. 1 hasn't yet realised this. That's an important distinction for a trans person.

Well for years when I played the games I thought Tails was Female there too. He made and still somewhat, makes more sense to me as a female character. It wasn't until I saw a cartoon where Sonic called Tails "Little Bro" that I found out other wise haha.
Also sorry if I offended anyone, the whole Trans and Gender thing is still a little hard for me to wrap my head around. I have always supported people being who they feel they are inside, so I always understood the surgery part. But as for when a person learns they truely are something... that is much trickier to pin down.
