You are standing at the foot of towering mountains, jagged and menacing. On the very top you can see the outline of a ruined castle. This is the first time you go out to search ruins of the past. You received a package about a week ago. Inside you found a map to the place and a letter. That letter stated that a reward waited those who went to the castle and solved its mysteries. There was also a number on the back, which didn't seem to corelate to anything. #8
The thrill, the history, the fame... the reasons why you decided to go are endless.
But on your way out here, you noticed something was off. There is no path up to the castle that looks safe and there are military grade trucks parked down below. Your curiosity is at its peak when a voice breaks your chain of thought.
What are you doing here?"
The flame pelted wolf introduces himself as Garrett after you explain that you wish to reach the castle. He explains that you did not pick the right day to go hiking. You however insist that you need to get up there and show him your note. He stays quiet with a stern look, turned towards the castle thoughtfully. You take in his frame and notice he is quite well equipped. Three guns, pouches, a rope with a hook, an ice pike... He seems capable. And you feel out of place.
He then breaks the silence again to ask:
"So you want to go adventuring? Tell me then, why should I take you with me?"

So here's a little fun thing I had in mind, just a fake game still with Garrett as the main character you'd interact with! I love writing, so this is kind of to mesh my art and that other love I have together.

Also can you tell I'm deep in the Uncharted feel? I just finished the whole franchise, and it was a whole lot of fun <3 I definitely recommend!
