From my road trip through the Rockies last year.
We stopped in Kalispell, Montana, on what was supposed to be our way out of Glacier NP. It didn't work out the way we planned, but it worked out alright. On our way from Kalispell to Missoula (which was a stop on our way to Yellowstone), we happened to pass this field that really captured what Kalispell felt like to me. One thing I loved about the town was how there's this big open plain, and suddenly there's a huge wall of mountains. Definitely worth a revisit.
