Recently, I played through Metal Gear Solid V for the first time and enjoyed it quite a bit. And a combination of a conversation with a friend and Teranen's image of a crossgender Wolf O'Donnel inspired this image. If you haven't seen Teranen's work, it's great. Check it out! It's very cute art. So the idea of a tsundere female version of DD was implanted in my head and it needed to come out. DD having a sneaking suit is a such a goofy thing. But it fits well in a world where tactical cardboard boxes exist. And naturally I converted it into a leotard. Yeah, it really doesn't help that DD and Wolf both have eyepatches and similar color schemes.
Fun fact: the brush I used the same brush to do this entire image. It's the Design Pencil in Clip Studio. It gives the feel of a marker when it's used to color.
