This is Mira. She's a Ribbon seal. I got really into pinnepeds for a while cuz they're AWESOME and kinda underrated... I'm surprised more people don't like to draw seals and sea lions when they are just so SQUISHY AND FUN :D

That background is probably a crime... hell, my digital coloring just looks sloppy in general x__x I should be ashamed ; ^ ;
At least I attempted a background time... I think I needed one to do her justice cuz its taken so long to get the concept right.

I also found out that apparently, female Ribbon seals are actually a brownish color instead of black like the males. I blame my seal book. It didn't include that bit where the Audubon marine mammals book did ; 3 ;
