While many demons can be considered "higher thinking", there are several beastly creatures in the vast plains of this hell. The demon king Felnir, favors those of great power, in all it's forms. This also extends to these animalistic demons and three of the most vile and dangerous of them have gotten his special attention. He claims them as his royal pets, ones he heavily enjoys seeing ravenously hunt across their domain.

While many see the hells as fiery pits of infernal terrors, not all of it follows this interpretation, though they are still no less horrid and deadly. Among the worst of these is the massive lake known as Death's Bath. The hellish lake is far from the life giving, environment supporting bodies of water like the surface world, but rather an enormous pool of extremely corrosive acid, in which most normal beings would completely disintegrate if they were to even stand near it. Even to demons, the lake is inhospitable and it's water mostly used as weapons. But the hells are known to birth creatures of all things imaginable, even things that could survive such uninviting "waters". Though they are relatively few, the demons of Death's Bath are among the most deadly and durable of them all. Their forms have adapted to thrive on what would completely destroy many.

However, even among these, there is one that comes out on top. The absolute apex predator of the lake and the area around it. In the tongue of demons it is the Licy Tyrrar, the Lake Terror. This vile gargantuan beast's body is partially made of and constantly, and very rapidly, self produces the same deadly acidic liquid of it's home. Four long feelers around it's body allow it to detect anything in any direction, to compensate for it's relatively narrow view provided by it's eyes.

It carries a part of it's beloved lake every where it goes, inside of it. It's thick and extremely durable hide are practically impenetrable and it freely uses what would be fatal to most as it's most powerful weapon. It can control the buildup of the acid and during a hunt can speed it up greatly causing it's body to bloat up several times it's normal size. It's powerful legs also naturally grow along with it, to support it's larger frame. This alone allows it to use it's higher body mass as a weapon of it's own, but what really makes it the true horror of the lake is being able to spew out the acid like a cannon, smothering anything around it with it's corrosive weapon, killing whatever it sees as a threat almost instantly. It is even able to spew this acid from it's back, causing and massive area around it to be doused in acid rain.

It appears to even be able to alter to properties of it's acid, as it has been seen using it as somewhat of a paralyzing agent instead, most likely if it sees something it wishes to consume. It's two large mouths allow it to consume almost anything it encounters and it loves to find the largest prey possible.

While already incredibly deadly outside of it's home, it naturally has even more advantages in and beneath it's acidic lake...which will be seen later.


Here is yet another demon! I wanted to make a few more animalistic demons who will also double as Felnir's personal pets. The Lake Terror is the first he took as one. After many years of hearing tales of it, he went to see for himself. Being such a powerful demon, the acids of the lake did little to him and he was able to favorably tame this chonky shark with some...generous offerings.

There are two other of his pets yet to come. Both similar to the Lake Terror in that the embody, self produce, and are partially made of some kind of highly deadly substance. The second being another beast he learned by reputation and the third being a gift from a certain lord of gluttony.
