Oh, what's this? Something new? And it's for Pride! This was something I'd thought of doing out of the blue and....spent a while dragging my feet on....but I got there in the end! Although I mostly deal in gay characters, I do actually feature a few characters of other sexualities and lifestyles and I thought I'd draw some of them in their respective colors. From left to right we have...

Carmello as Omnisexual. The difference between Pansexuality and Omnisexuality has been described as Pan being able to love anyone regardless of their gender or identity while Omni is more along the lines of loving anyone BECAUSE of their identity or sexuality. And with someone like Carmello, that's a pretty good fit. Due to his unique approach to his own sexuality, he's developed a loving appreciation for all the different means of romantic and sexual contact.

Ninetails-me-of course, is Homosexual. It took a big part of my adolescence to come to terms with it and accept myself but by now I'm out loud and proud to be gay! Simple as that.

Mamoru (Shino Inoshishi) as Demisexual. Surprise! He's been Demi all along! I never really got into it because of how I ended up not doing much with my Ninetails and Friends fan-series concept, but Mamoru would be revealed as being Demisexual at some point. As a demon, his basic sexual preference boils down to "A hole's a hole" most of the time, but those are feelings and desires that he only feels comfortable sharing with a person he knows, trusts and deeply loves. Here's hoping he finds that someone.

And of course if you've read Father and Son, you would know James is bisexual. Although going through the wringer with Lars' mother has turned him off from relationships with women, he still loves a good woman in bed...Unfortunately for them, he's off the market and happy to stay that way.

Have a happy pride and enjoy being yourself and embracing your sexuality and gender identity. Pride comes from acceptance of self and acceptance of self comes from being true to your feelings, no matter what they are. As long as nobody is getting hurt, you don't have any reason to give a shit what some ignorant asshole or judgemental crusader has to say concerning it.
