Valarion (NEW FURSONA informal reference)
I'll make a proper reference sheet another time. This one is for showcasing variations. Or should I say Valariations...?
The wings are optional because I reeeeeaaaally don't like drawing wings. I'm not particularly good at them. :T
Valarion (pronounced va-LAR-ion, not va-LAIR-ien) , AKA Val, is my new main fursona, replacing Kaleen, who has been my main fursona/mascot since 2017. I've changed a LOT since 2017 so it was about time I debuted a new 'sona more reflective of my current mindset.
I've been working on Val for a LONG time and I'm glad I can finally debut her in some official fashion. As a phoenix-gryphon, she has features of a lion and an eagle, as well as the ability to generate fire. The original design I did of Valarion (originally called Fireflower) featured a beak, but it was important to me that this character have prominent teeth.
Her name is rooted in my own fantasy language. "Vala" means flower, and "rion" means fire. The name has personal meaning for me.
