Oh, I love the strategic fig lea- er, I mean, seashells!

It's bad of me, but one of my favorite parts of that movie was the look on King Triton's face when he realized "Uh oh. A deal-with-the-devil was made; can't just brute-force our way out of this one!"

That seashell is the real MVP here haha

Haha, I do love the expressions on al disney movies, they get them so ... just right don't they?

It helps that the movie crew would assign a unique director / key frame artist to each primary character, and other directors to focus on maybe two or three secondary characters only, making them all into the proverbial "actors with pencils". I forgot the exact details, but the credits do reflect that ^_^

Another similar brief moment comes up in Aladdin (and this caught the attention of the Walker Brothers, too, for their reviews) wherein Jaffar has just gained the lamp and used up at least one wish. He then demands, General Zod style, that everybody bow to him. Jasmine and Aladdin, in the foreground, glare at him defiantly. In the background, however, Jasmine's father / the sultan is starting to scramble to his knees... then notices what Jasmine and Aladdin are doing, then puts on a little show of defiance, too, after the fact.

As for that seashell, I guess it is the MVP for the rating...
