You'd need cupfuls of all the trace elements (iron, magnesium, copper...) as well, unless they come under "salts".

There are several tanks in there we can't see the labels of. Perhaps there are separate ones for nonmetallic and metallic salts.

I have done nothing but monsterize bread for the past three days.

Presumably there are safety systems in there that occasionally result in very confused dumpster rodents that suddenly are not in trash bags anymore.

If there were any rats in those bags, the Monsterizer would detect them, disallow the "refill" operation and put up an alert.

Less often. Fixing a broken leg or curing cancer doesn't involve nearly as much of a difference in mass as turning someone into a bulky ogre or whip-thin basilisk or w/e.

What if some people in universe 'misunderstand' this, similar to how some people think certain chemical compounds in medicines or food cause issues when they don't. Like how table salt is made of sodium and chlorine, two dangerous substances rendered not only relatively harmless but necessary for life once combined. :3 But some goobers still think it's dangerous. ^^; *laughs*

Just picturing someone coming in with their own 'superfluous matter' to insist in using, but its like high priced pieces of meat, fresh veg, packaged vitamins, etc. Not understanding that at the atomic level the source of the matter is irrelevant and won't alter the outcome in the slightest. ^^;

this here just makes me think of something What will happen to a customer if the matter just suddenly runs out or a power failure while the customer is being transformed?

If there's not enough matter to complete the TF, the computer sends an error message and doesn't activate the Monsterizer.

The whole system is hooked up to a massive battery backup with enough power to complete any TF even if the power goes out immediately.

this is good to hear but it will not surprise me that there is someone who will try to sabotage the Monsterizer
