Emily Pollechat, a regular here, has a friend - a red skwerlgrrl called Sidget Byelka - who has mainly appeared (in cartoon form rather than the fotonovela version shown here) in Rowrbrazzle over the past several years. Here, for some reason, Sidget has gone to the mall and had to borrow one of Emily's cars with unhappy results. Byelka is a misspelling of the Russian word (belka) for squirrel BTW.
This was a great deal of fun to do, mainly with images scanned or saved off the Intarwebz and tinkered with in Corel PhotoPaint 8. I may do MOAR.

I found this spelling in a short story by Saki (HH Munroe), from a remark by a young (pre-Revolution) Russian hunter - apparently, from what I've been able to find out, this spelling of the word does not appear anywhere else aside from an obscure Italian novel (IIRC). I can only assume Sidget had a quarrel with her family over something and has since taken to spelling her name in this fashion.
