Fun trip, but damn, was it hot! We got outa there only barely ahead of a heat stroke, I'm sure. Just as well, because the guns I'd left in direct sunlight had gotten too hot to touch. Ow! If society collapses, and I gotta shoot my way out, I hope it happens in winter. Gunfighting in an Arizona August is just painful.

Duh. OK, next trip, we start with that. Thanks in advance! Sure hope it's the scope, not the rifle. I thought it was me. Oddly, it seemed to be a tad MORE accurate when the target was further away??

I used to fire that with no front sight and hit all kinds of things, and you say you can't hit anything with it scoped???

We live in Arizona. We can own anything, (ANY kind of gun or cannon or whatever) we want as long as we can pass the Federal background checks.

I do miss the occasional shooting trips with the Mob. Even if the bridge of my nose doesn't. :)
