Sketch - Werewolf!Heisenberg (HeisenWolf?)
Some EXTREMELY self indulgent sketches of something we absolutely could have had- but never got. :'D
Look, Karl was ABSOLUTELY a werewolf-coded character, and I will never not be angry that we didn't get wolf man Heisenberg. Yes, I do still adore him, but I decided to take that misfortune into my own hands and create the beauty that is HeisenWolf. uwu
Also added my own headcanon into this since I'm not sure I'd be able to otherwise- I personally headcanon that Heisenberg has a prosthetic limb, specifically a leg. So I took the opportunity to draw him with one! Copper with gold claws because he's extra like that. While still being able to control metal, I imagine he'd be able to alter the leg as he's shifting, probably creating a much more mechanical and detailed thing than I could ever HOPE to draw. :'D
Either way, he's a big chunky boy and I think I just fell in love with him even more.
There's a good chance I'll doodle him again like this... I'm sure Emelia would enjoy it!

I agree, Heis definitely gave me werewolf vibes and it would have been the more 'logical' way to go especially considering the animosity between Heis and Lady D. The long term vampire vs werewolf shtick. >> But the again since when has RE ever truly made sense? XD it's all about the illogical obserdity of why not which has always made it fun in my opinion!^^

Honestly, that's one of the ONLY things about the game that really kinda irritated me, being that it wasn't really Werewolf vs. Vampire, because the 'Lycans' aren't LYCANS. Its even said in the concept art that they're more like primitive zombies. And that's not including the bullshit lie that is the cover with Chris and the wolf face, but I won't rant about that right now- 😂😭
YUS, he's my big fluffy boy and I love him 💙 I've worked with him so much that he's basically an OC based off Canon, or at least the wolf form is... I call him Lycanberg 💙 They've got an entire storyline and everything, its wonderful~
And... yes. Yes he can, actually. 😏 Can't be Heisenberg without his metal abilities!!~

Trust me I know the feeling all too well and it's an absolutely wonderful one in terms of creating AU versions of my favorite characters so much so they could be considered close to OC..granted since they still retain their base series mechanics/origin, even if I did alt the fuck out of it, I think it would be considered more Fanon than anything else...Fanon AU or...and I know I am going to butcher the spelling on this, dojinji. Just crazy fan creations of pre existing material.
Regardless! It's still epic to see this interpretation of Heis! I love it!^^
Yeah I remember seeing that note in the concept art about primitive zombie. That honestly confused me as to me the term more accurately describes the zombies from the first game and second game. Those infected with the Tvirus...they are your classic style zombie.
These guys in 8 strike me as...well...smart L4D Hunters. They have enough brain function to use certain weapons, hunt in packs, and even ride horses! That takes a hell of alot of brain activity honestly. And their appearance reminds me of the old black and white movie classic 'the wolfman'. Thr fact they shriek and howl does also lean in the 'werewolf' direction.
They are basically stuck in mid transformation to an actual werewolf in my head whenever I look at them. But that is just me.
Then we do get those miniboss fuckers. The big furry 4 legged dudes who became these monsters when wold blood was injected into the spine after they were given a cadou. They were probably the closest to the big burly werewolf design most people think of. They were a bit uncanny but I liked them!^^
And yeah, not gonna lie when I saw the cover for RE8 I legit thought for a minute Chris became infected and turned into a werewolf! XD
I...then took that idea and ran with it....>> I've got 2 different werewolf versions of him for two different universes. One where he ends up infected thus becomes a werewolf as this is how his body reacts to the virus. And then another version where him being a werewolf is a supernatural aspect as I mashed RE8 with several other series I thought made sense together aside from my brain circling back to the Megamycete having Existed well over 100 years ago. It was not man-made, Miranda said in her journal she found it in the cave...this thing just struck me as some kind of eldritch deity. Plus the flower in Africa Spencer uses to create the original strain and creates Wesker? Seems fishy to me. Sounds like the flower is a cousin species to the Megamycete. Then we have the crazy mind altering flowers Donna uses to manipulate Ethan and other people, making them see all kinds of shit and trick their actual senses in to feeling its real.
Yeah...supernatural shit be happening if you ask me XD.
Lycanberg! I dig it!^^ And lol very true! It isn't Heis if he can't hurl metal at you like Magneto! His boss form in game had me scratching my head but it did make sense on one level. Though I do wish his boss form was a huge werewolf decked out in metal armor you had to peel away to hurt him.
Lady D. Was well designed but her daughters while I liked them, bothered me in design. They were basically fly amoeba in the shape of a human vs an actual vampire like Lady D. But I suppose they couldn't make the daughters mini versions of Lady D or it would have taken away from her. Granted they could have used another method to make the bloodsuckers and still be unique....ah well XD
All in all I still loved the game.
