Superhero: X-Machina
After Bio-Magnus, the part of my brain that used to constantly spit out Superhero ideas when I was younger came back to life with a vengeance! Aside from robots, when I was very little, and Gumby & Pokey, Superheroes were THE main thing I drew as a child, and I think where my understanding of anatomy started. I'd just look over comic books, and just start making my own from there. lol So Bio-Magnus was basically just a match to gasoline: one part inspired to see if I could make a hero with a Beard, another part hero I wanted to see stack up against Omni-man after that episode of Invincible. You know the one.
So normally when I make "Super-Sonas", I make something like Silvermoth https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28949131/ where they come with a whole different persona of their own (so it would be harder to spill your secret identity), but for X-Machina, I wanted a challenge to adhere to aspects of hero costumes I usually avoid: 1. Part/most of my face had to be visible, 2. My interests had to heavily influence the design and powers, 3. His personality/persona had to be my own, so no alter egos that were super far removed from myself, 4. the costume had to have a 90's/early 2000's look and feel to it: something that would have been comfortable in a time with Tim Burton's Batman movies. All in all, it was pretty fun, and a hero that I'm very happy with, despite the abnormal choices for me.
Bio:
Coming into a small fortune with stocks and investments, Cecil Basaa turned very quickly to his two loves in life: helping others, and inventing. In particular, perpetual energy generators and old fashion mechanical machines had always been of particular interest and focus of his inventing. While his Good Samaritan acts easily lead to the start of his superheroics career, and his financial freedom allowing him to produce increasingly sophisticated gadgets to supplement his lack of powers, it wasn't until a major breakthrough and subsequent accident that he manifested his only power.
Successes with Neural interfaces allowed Cecil, under his heroic guise of X-Machina, to simulate the powers of a technopath, increasingly advanced drones allowed him to supplement his versatility in the field, and work on his supersuit increasingly allowed for greater durability and strength. But as a mortal man, as more heroes came onto the scene with natural powers, it became increasingly apparent that he was more of a liability with grander scale emergencies. If he was to be useful in more dangerous situations, or benefit the world and its people, he'd need greater innovations with his inventions; which he eventually got. All of the work from his Free-Energy research, eventually yielded a prototype that, in theory, would defy Thermodynamics, and make an infinite energy source. What he actually built, however, was machine which put increasing stress on reality itself. The device eventually caused a fracture in reality, and the ensuing explosion of the suddenly released energy embedded (unknown to X-Machina) "splinters" of reality into X-Machina's body.
It was only after being fatally shot some time later, that X-Machina would learn of the splinters and their effect; Quantum Pairing him with the Corporeal Fracture he had caused. Through a series of strange rules and reactive conditions that Cecil slowly began to generally understand, he soon learned that he'd become functionally immortal, for as long as the Corporeal Fracture existed, and the splinters remained stuck inside of him, his reality would warp to return his body to life, and adapt reactively to the SPECIFIC cause of his death: preventing it from happening a second time. However, the rules in which reality adjusts itself to make this happen are not entirely understood, and its reaction is only to fatal accidents, as the Quantum Pairing is not threatened as long as Cecil is still alive. The range of adaptation can be anywhere between altering a single specific spot on his body becoming bullet proof, to his strength being increased because he was unable to stop an object from killing him; each alteration is HIGHLY conditional, and every death is still fully experienced and remembered, even after Cecil has been restored to life. This alone has, while he doesn't mention this to even people close to him, had a profound affect on him, and weighs heavily on him psychologically.
It took a number of years before X-Machina learned how to draw power from the fracture into usable energy, but after adapting his suit to draw from the fissure, after the creation of his Infinite Generators and 1-to-1 Quantum Power Transmitters, X-Machina was able to power an internal flight system within his suit, increase the strength monumentally, and developed far more intelligent AI paired with greatly more advanced Drones. However, due to a lack of his knowledge on the Fracture itself, its energy, and not being able to create machinery that won't utterly destroy itself if it draws too much power from the fracture, Cecil has not sold any of his designs, or made any of his new technologies commercially available. The results of warfare where reality can be tore to pieces, and energy beyond the universe itself, as well as the psychological horrors of countless deaths and resurrections are not things that he wishes to set loose upon the world: which is also why he lies about his powers being Immortality, as opposed to their true nature.
Abilities Include:
Super Suit: A hyper sophisticated exosuit that draws from the infinite energy potential of the Corporeal Fracture, increasing strength, speed, durability, and allowing for artificial flight.
Simulated Technopathy: use of neural interface allows the rapid and instant use of, and communication with, nearby electronics
Quantum Pairing/Adaptive Reality: Reality behaves of strict, but unclear rules to resurrect and repair X-Machina from fatal injury, and prevents him from dying the exact same way twice.

Big Boy: The original design for Cecil's Next Generation Drones, designed to function off of the energy transmitted from the Infinity Generators. Slow and simple, but strong, Big Boy is designed for administering Medical Care, Heavy Debris Removal, and Retrieving Victims from rubble, with only a basic self defense load-out in energy weapons. Her slow speed, large size, and limited intelligence prevented the Big Boy model from being mass produced.
Pom: Designed for rapid exfiltration of injured persons, air rescue, precision tasks, and speed, Pom is the fastest series of Drone. With lifting and speed in mind, Pom sports the largest engines of the other Drones, but has the fussiest and neediest AI personality type.
Tough: Rough and Tumble, Tough is designed exclusively for combat assistance, with a brave, but gentle and endearing AI personality to match. Armed with a much more rugged energy defense system, and large armored section to batter and deflect hostiles into submission, the Toughs are incredible Crowd Control and Civilian Protection Drones for situations where large groups of Villains could easily surround X-Machina, or when large crowds are in immediate danger which X'Machina cannot handle quickly enough on his own.
Goldie: The flagship of the Next Generation Drones, Goldie is one part personal assistant: with the most swift mind and level head, one part fire support, one part search and rescue, and a jack of all trades that can easily function as a steadfast sidekick for X-Machina. The additional Support Drones of Goldie's type were mass produced in silver, and Goldie herself remains the most intelligent AI X-Machina has created, with Pom a close, but fussy second.

lol thank you very much! lol I know I'm certainly going to try to! Funnily enough, I showed these to my manager, and she really liked the robots! And with How quickly the Strong John is coming together, I guess I'm inclined to believe you! lol I guess I don't give myself enough credit!
