Here is a male Baelusk, which lives around and in swamps.

height: 2,8 meter

lenght from head to tail: about 10-12 meter

weight: 3,5 metric tons

nutrition: omnivorous

the Baelusk is a more or less placid creature which lives in and around miry woods and feeds mostly on plants, mushrooms, insect and other small creatures. It finds them with its advanced sense of smell. when it has found something, it will dig for it with his mole-like front paws.If a Baelusks doesn't find something to eat, which happens very rarely, it uses its horns ( that only the male Baelusks have) to ram over small trees to get to the roots
The Baelusk also feeds on plants and animals which can be found in the swamp water. To dive down to the plants and animals it moves its tail up and down in a meandering way(sorry I couldn't find a fitting translation) the "tentacles" on its pelvis are organs of touch, which helps him to orientate under water.

when a Baelusk is tired or sleepy it will sleep where ever it is at the moment. Often they float on the water with their head under the surface. Small lung holes on its back prevent drowning. The back of a Baelusk often resembles a big piece of wood (you can't see that here because I will ad some "branches" to the back of it later)
