Xiawen, God of the Sun and Daylight

In the land of Taiyang, the sun never seems to fully fade, at most turning into a long sunset painting the sky an array of colors. This because the land is blessed by the presence of Xiawen, the lord of sunlight. He is often depicted as a young hatchling of a dragon, but in truth is forever caught in a loop of regression and ageing that is linked to the postion of the sun in the sky. As the sun rises, he grows into a full grown dragon, only to slowly regress as the day recedes into night. It is for this reason that he is seen as a being of renewal, and his faithful see some of the more regressive effects of Mylk on it's people as a blessing rather then a curse. A temple dedicated to him exists on Solar Island in the middle of Taiyang, and is tended to by the Solar Monks who are said to posses a source of pure FOY water to keep themselves forever young. Those who have met the god himself do claim that while he physically grows with the sun cycles, his maturity doesn't grow with him...
