Sunset befalls a small grove, defined by a small hill and stumps where bamboo once stood.
Overlooking the reddening sky is a solitary being, hoisting a whole piece of bamboo over his shoulder, freshly plucked out of the ground by hand.
Though this feat may seem impressive, to him it is naught but everyday life and to his kind the smallest expectation.
Calm and satisfied, he watches as night falls, ready for and anticipating the quiet and the dark.
