This time: the Doel

The doel in the Lovecraft Mythos are basically... uh... tiny worm-like things that exist outside of our reality and can extend dark mist-like tendrils into our reality. In my setting they are "just" the dark tendrils and they can create pocket-sized pocket dimensions which they can reopen elsewhere and still have the same stuff they put in aaand also they can teleport. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I thought it would be fun to play as something as alien as that.

So... when faced with a being of shadows and absolute evil what do i do? I obviously put it in my setting and tell players "Yeah. You don't have to be evil." Hence this chthonian here playing at being a juggler. Because i thought that if you put something in your pocket step aside and pick it up again it might not be fun for you or people who know you have pockets. But to everybody else who does not understand how a pocket works or how it can exist it might look like a wonderful feat.

Soo here is some dude making money off the street by basically putting stuff in his pockets and then taking the same stuff out. 🤣👍💖💯

Tangential and very much related. Lovecraft in my RPG setting actually existed and wrote what for the people in that setting was "whodunit" stories of murderers and stuff. Usually of the kind that ends badly.
