EDIT: This issue of 3DN has been discontinued and won't be going any further. Sorry for those who enjoyed it but honestly I didn't have much of a clue where I was going with it. I wanted to do something bigger with it and realized belatedly I hadn't planned enough with only solid ideas of who the characters were and no plot. Sorry.
Kana needs lessons in how to perform a strip tease...
I'm feverish and retarded so hopefully this page makes sense. If not, oh friggen well, I had to do SOMETHING other than lie in bed feeling gross and I didn't want to butcher my commissions XP

I disagree lol. I find the looser the shirt and with the large neck and arm holes on this one, you'd be putting your head, elbows and everything in the wrong place. It would have been easier if she'd dropped the straps but the reason the shirt bunches at the waist is because there's an elastic around the waist, keeping the fabric from just falling to her knees... yeah I got it all planned out STEALTH like.
I found hands absolutely impossible to draw for the longest time. I can tell you the exact moment it stopped being hard and what I did: I was watching Princess Mononoke and noticed that the hands are awesome and so I watched the movie and paused it whenever I saw a hand in an interesting pose and I drew it. The hand is really complicated and it's sometimes difficult to imagine it in simplified terms when you're looking at your real hand, so looking at how an animator might handle it was helpful for me.
Also, start by thinking of the fingers as having two joints, since most 'relaxed' hand positions the tips of the fingers aren't bent, they follow the curve of the second knuckle. After that I find it's just a matter of making sure the thumb pad and the pad that runs from wrist to pinky are distinguishable.. Once you're comfy with that you can get into drawing foreshortening and what-not too... I used to have entire sheafs of paper covered in drawings of hands. O_o

And here we have Kana ladies and gentlemen, giving us a display of the 4 classic stages of striptease fail,
1 - "mmmm coming..."
2 - "yeah I'm... wait a minite hold on... I can't see..."
3 - "Huh, I... how did that... ok... no I can do it, I don't need any help... nggg almost..."
4 - *thump* "awww I got sand in my nose..." :(
Mavelously executed, a round of applause for the lady... XP
Also random question, is it just me or are Kana and Secrets feathers (at least I think secret has feathers too, on his back?) particularily exagerated in this page, particularily in the "suuuuure..." panal?

Thanks XP lol
Kana's crest feathers change depending upon her moods, so they stand up more or lay back, sometimes they're fluffier or more slicked, depends what she's feeling. Right now I think she's feeling 'DAT ASS' *nods sagely* SecreT's feathers I am still getting the hang of the size and shape, since they're more pointy than Kana's generally.

Still majorly applauding the appearance of the comic. I like the use of the large picture of Kana watching SecreT stripping down used as a background of the three inset panels. X3 Your page doesn't get bogged down with sharp lines but neither does it seem like its trying to be 'different'. Applause and applesauce X3
kind of looks like a modified halter wrap.
something like this, but with a hood added on I suppose.

This comic just popped up on /furi. Of course haters gonna hate but I wanted to drop by and say I really am enjoying the expressionist style of your art. It is somehow refreshing. I'm not sure what /exactly/ it is that makes it so appealing but I think it is the good use of color balance, the way you frame everything in the non-standard panels and the expressive characters. The lines are very expressive as well. This work looks like it was actually /fun/ to make. It's a nice change of pace from the oh-so-standardized comics of the modern style.
In conclusion: Salute!

Smooothe, Kana. Real smoothe. (Like gravel...lolol.)
BTW, and I'm sure you've heard this, but your art (which was great to begin with) has imrpoved SO much since you took the Iron Artist Challenge. 8D Expressions, anatomy, all of it is looking so great! Congrats hon. 8D
