Well here is my current commission I’ve been working on. It will be a grey two tailed fennec fox. Right now its loose looking on the DTD because I’ve yet to install the front zipper and machine sew all the seams. I always have to stop myself from taking tailors chalk and making an outline around the DTD like some kind of crime scene, they always remind me of a dead body when lying on my sewing room floor lol.
A little advice for making fursuit bodies.
To get strong seams save up the extra money and buy some upholstery thread its 5 times more expensive then the regular cotton thread but worth it in the long run as it is much stronger.
For almost invisible seams hand sew the entire body first making sure everything fits then carefully (I use a zipper foot on my sewing machine) re-sew along each seam with a sewing machine. This allows for less fabric on the wrong side to bunch up making the seams bulge out and when you hand sew it you can make sure all the fur is pushed to the right side of the fabric.
When attaching arms/sleeves sew the top of the shoulder first then make sure that the body can make a T with the arms out. If you sew the body like a suit with the arm down when the wearer lifts their arms the fur at the shoulder will bunch up and possible pull the ankle up exposing part of the leg/ankle because faux fur doesn’t stretch.

For a one colored body with tail (no extra padding) would cost $275(USA shipping included) if YOU provided the fur. I would require a Ducked Tape Dummy. If your interested you can contact me via my e-mail at bltsandwitch87[at]yahoo.com
