There are a fair amount of lower tier stuff that requires attunement. A prosthetic limb did for a while, which was just stupid, so they changed it.
Azuredge however is a +3 battleaxe that does +2d6 radiant damage against fiends and undead, AND has the thrown property with a range of 60 ft and flies back to your hand after the attack. It's beautiful
