Jane considers close friends as her family and will defend them with her life.

BACKSTORY
Almost parallel with Damon’s.
Being the older sister to Damon she took the role of a caregiver and watched over him until he developed a substantial amount of independence,
and promptly left for art school after finishing high school.
She later returns to live with her girlfriend, only to be kicked out and has to move in with Damon and Vincent.
