I also like how that was a pretty accurate callback too. I think towards the end of his debut fight he picked up a quarry sized stone to smash bats's head in but croc collapsed or batman rolled out the way at the last second if I remember right.

I'm currently rewatching the series, and it seems that Croc goes for the "smash Batman with a rock" act just about every time they fight. He's definitely a one-trick pony.
