Month of The Willow Tree:
This tree represents the female gift of fertility. This is the first month of spring, where the cycles of life begin again.
I prepared for the children most of this month. I reinforced the tubes the eggs were growing in. I finished my robot, The R34P3R to prepare for the worst. I spent more time with Yuaad, and we spent time with Lillian too. We brought her to the lab and showed her the eggs. Yuaad said Lillian could tell one of the eggs were hers. I had no idea if that was really true, or how much Lillian really understood. I don’t think she knew what was going on, or that I was making a child with her.
One night I heard Lillian clawing at the lab door, trying to get inside. I opened the door for her to come inside, she carefully walked over to the tubes that held the eggs, and she slept beside the one that was hers. I thought it was adorable, but then realized that Yuaad was right. Lillian could tell the egg was hers. Yuaad wasn’t surprised when I told her about this. I guess I’m not always the bright one.
Lillian was getting more attached to her egg. She spent days at the lab, which I didn’t mind too much, but by this time she was as big as Yuaad and I. I talked to Yuaad about Lillian’s size, and that’s how I found out what was happening.
“Maybe we gave her too many of those treats!” Yuaad suggested. My mind went blank. I told Yuaad I was giving Lillian ‘treats’ back when we first caught her – but they were actually growth hormones. I hadn’t given her those in ages, but Yuaad told me whenever our pet was being good, she gave her those treats. She thought I was doing the same.
“But I didn’t give her all of them! At least a few stacks disappeared between the times that I fed her. I thought that was you?”
I wasn’t using the growth hormone treats for anything, and then we realized, Lillian must have been eating them on her own. She could see where Yuaad would get them from, and being as dumb as I was, I left them in a cupboard without a lock down low, since I never thought I’d have to worry about anyone misusing my materials.
I looked into the small cupboard that was once filled with the hormone treats. It was completely empty. I can’t believe Lillian ate them all. That’s why she’s as big as Yuaad and I! And she was still growing. The lobster was, again, more intellectual than I had expected. It was completely my fault for being so careless.
And Lillian… I’m surprised she’s still alive after eating all those. That’s a complete endangerment to her life. I was naïve thinking the few treats I gave her so long ago could still be in effect today. At least our pet was still behaving normally.
However, if she starts falling out of our control… I know what I’ll have to use The R34PER for.

Awesome! :D It's really shaping up to be a cool story, and that's just from what I've read so far. Lillian's entry into the lab to sleep near her eggs was a cool way to make Dr. Ama and us sure of Lillian's intelligence, as well as her getting into her hormone treats on her own! For all their sakes, hopefully R43PER won't be necessary, especially not to combat their pet or their own children. Dr. Ama's sneaking his experiments in without Yuaad's knowledge already seems to have backfired, with the whole issue of the extra growth hormone pills, when she could really be an asset to his research with her connection and understanding of the other creatures. So hopefully he won't get in even more trouble.
Lots of exciting drawings with this one too! Cool flying robots and some action shots with Fuxie and R43PER and Nishidor and Dr. Ama. I love the naked construction beavers too, including Sweaty! :D

Oh, wow! I looked through what you've written so far. The story gets so intense later on, even more so than now. I see that R43PER did become rather necessary, unfortunately for them, even though it didn't in the end protect Dr. Ama and Yuaad as well as might have been hoped. Besides the exciting plot, I really like a lot of the details that your adding, too, like with all the names of the months and the names that you give Dr. Ama's offspring, being similar to their mothers. There's quite a bit of suspense going on, and I'm definitely going to look forward to seeing the full version when you're through with it!
I was glad I got to show off a bit of the drawings to show what comes after this section ends. (: Especially naked beaver workers! (though everyone seems to ask why their nipples show when fox nipples don't. X3)
I liked doin' the fun stuff more, but I guess I knew the intense parts had to come eventually. I'm glad I could tie up names and events and characters alright though! (: And it'll be nice having another projects all done. X3 Thanks a bunch for all the support and stuff Bosk! :3 *Snugsnugs*

Héhé Really nice work Nishi.... Like Bosky said this is one really intrense story... an awesome development in this story piece and also the reason of the existence of the R34PER... to create such story you really must go in your innerself li'l Hamster (imagination) to seek such ideas.... Nice work li'l Hamster
Kazootles! Dr. Ama never ceases to be amazed. It's got to be quite the humbling experience to come in believing you are the most intellectual being to ever grace the island to only discover, over time, you could've never been so wrong.
Although I haven't had the chance to go through the "bonus materials" yet, I do plan on joining Bosky in the good times. After all, having read his little spoiler, I can't help but now find out exactly what he's eluding to with respect to what intense events are to come. *laughs and scampers* It's kind of like waiting in line for a second showing of a movie when the first batch of folks get out and are all crying, "Can you believe it!?..."
As a final, thoughtful note, I must mention how much I enjoy Dr. Ama's growth as a character. He went from being a solo Yoshi who believed he alone would find all the answers on his little piece of the world. However, through meeting Yuaad and Lillian, he gradually learned that he may be smart, but there is still much he needs to learn in order to be the best he can be.
Put simply, one can be confident and smart. However, without empathy and humility, they'll find many of life's greatest questions impossible to answer as they may be too clouded to see the true answers that are right before their eyes.

Hehe, you got the right idea for sure! An important part of education is knowing there are lots of things you don't know. (: And sometimes it's an easier lesson to learn on your own!
I'm glad for the most part I got to have a story be more fun and happy rather than intense and climactic and stuff. X3 It was a nice switch even if it has to change up later on. :3 woop woop!

Gabby-Gabby-Gaboo! I just got done reading through the bonus sections of Dr. Ama and must say that I am indeed impressed. The additional letters to Don are very insightful and the plot twist that happens right after this particular section is very dramatic and does well at pulling at the heart strings. Super job!
An additional note I was impressed by is how the good doctor, despite how things turned out, went on to be the best father he can be to Yuaad's and Lillian's children. It's not easy being a first-time dad. Especially when you are so used to living in a world all your own and then, suddenly, you have to think of more than just yourself for a change. The fact he adapted to this like a pro while emotionally coping with memories the children likely have, unbeknowst to them, tied into them is truly impressive.
Keep up the good work! I look forward to reading more as you get it up and/or owning it in hardcover when it's all done. :)

Hehe, meanwhile I'm getting ready to finish the final section of the whole story! X3
I'm glad ya liked the extra stuff so far! :3 I think it was fun enough just writing stuff between him and Don. X3 But I'm glad it got to be bigger than that. And since Ama's original parenting plans all sorta fell apart, it's definitely good he found another way to make things work out best for 'em, where he can still be a part of their lives too. :3 Woop woop!
