Since nobody liked my chainmail tighty-whiteys, I went with a more "300" style of leather briefs for the hyenas. I would've liked a skirt of some kind but I want to keep these guys as technically simple as I can.
So... is this better? I know his ass is too feminine; I need to work on that. As for the rest?
Oh yeah, and hi! I'm not dead :P

And really, a kilt is just a wrap skirt (sorry Scottish boys!)
Cloth in any 3d program is a major challenge and the hyenas aren't major characters in what I have in mind.

Yeah, not that I really have any furry 3d work to post on FA, but 3dsMax was what I tried first, but I ended up liking Maya much more after trying that, so I stuck to it, haha. But yeah, Maya is more popularly used in the film industry, but 3dsMax does do the exact same thing, and there is some really great work out there with 3dsMax. Just check out Blur Studio's work and demo reel; they do trailers for games, and their stuff looks photoreal (and 3dsMax is their main 3d package they use)http://www.blur.com/
anyway, do forgive the ramble, not often I come across someone to exchange conversation on this subject matter, lol. Perhaps if I whip up something more furry eventually, I can share some of my mediocre maya work, rofl.
