A letter to somebody very important to me.
A widely misunderstood plant family, many people see “Nightshade” and are fearful of the kin of Bella Donna, which in a garden is a beautiful flower, but is a nigh deadly poison to most Humans and Animals of which Kingdom we are subject. Our souls are that of animals, but not of Beasts. We have that strangeness of Rationale which can bring us fear of flowers. While in ignorance we see flowers as little more than attractive baubles to be admired. We may thus allow our dog into the garden of another, and the dog may eat of the Bella Donna.
The dog eats the berry and dies; one may be inclined to blame the Gardener when faced with an inconvenient and hard reality in which oneself encroached on another’s territory without proper knowledge. Grief from disappointment and indifference, the end of hope; is it the end of hope? Maybe it is the beginning of Fear, or perhaps, of Pain? Pleasure was taken from understanding that they had been happily frolicking in the garden and it is left to wonder if the self is to blame for the loss of such innocence.
This fear does not arise from any sense of pleasure, assuredly, but can stem and take root from a lack of understanding, which is to is a feeling similar; maybe even identical to the Dog’s. A moment of bliss born out of ignorance, fright from that same feeling, and pleasure the dog experienced. That fear will not stop one man from getting another dog, and learning from his mistake, however, take another… this one may never get another dog due to the guilt, but whose guilt? Who is guilty?
Is the Gardener to blame? The gardener is unawares. The Dog? Self-guilt? How might a man, or any other understand the actions of a canid? We as ourselves with the title of “Sapiens Sapiens” which is to call ourselves Homonini the same, and sapiens s. for doubly wise, or sapient which is to call ourselves knowledgeable while being unable to understand our own poor decision making.
So how is it we expect to understand what is out of the self when it is exceptionally difficult to spare time to know the Self. How can we hope to understand what we will not make privy to ourselves? Quandary leads to query and we are stricken in that moment with what we can not make public with ourselves can not be well understood, and that what we do not understand can easily breed fright. Fear of the unknown is scaring and stopping us in all things it seems, but then why do we search for it so fervently?
In search of the unseeable with the Large Hadron Collider. Hadron from Hadros which is to call the nucleus of atoms fully grown, adult, or ripe; it could mean stout. Wonder which Lev Okun meant when he first made mention the “Hadron” as a new term, surely some were worried by this. Most likely worried about the effect on their own research and terminology. Okun meant to use Hadron as Big, and Massive, which while not wrong can be misconstrued.
Fear of the unknown despite enticing embrace, fret at the learning of new knowledge. The dog did not fear, or worry about the plants that cause its death, so why did we fear tomatoes, and potatoes? Solanine is the answer, poison made by the sun.
To my Beloved.
Please do not steal this work, it's very important to me, and others.
