Done for the Paradise Universe... I realized it sucked half-way through so I rushed it.... decided to submit it here as an example in how not to write a story...

Too many plots go nowhere, too much lack of description... I'm not overly proud of this story.

If anyone knows how to contact Jon Buck (The website this was to be submitted to didn't seem to have contact information) tell me, I want to see about getting a revised version of this story somewhere in the Paradise Canon. I'll write the revision myself after I completely sort out everything I did wrong.

I don't like too many furry TF stories because they come across as being "Sure wish this would happen to me", so I like Paradise and the idea that it isn't always a good thing, and is in some cases a very life-ruining thing.

Yes... the Bear and Skunk line was a throw away reference to the "Alone/Building" series of Paradise stories. No, no one in this story is intended to be or know Rob or CM... If a revision is made, Ruby may possibly show up in a sequal.... as a bat.
