Personality: Rune Belagris, a scholar, a knight and a supporter of the weak. Does anything in his power to help those who can´t defend themselves in a world where despots rule and oppress the weak citizens of their city states. He hasn´t commited a single crime in his life, or even thought of commiting one. Basically, he´s a goodwilled man who helps everyone. Even those who have commited serious crimes, but regret them from the bottom of their hearts and want to turn a new leaf in their lives.

Past: His father discovered a powerful form of written magic while doing research in the city of mages, Lacus. He wasn´t sure, but it was possible that these runes were used by the gods themselves in the creation of the world and in defining things that exist. It was too dangerous to let anyone else know about runes, so Joakim took his family to a secluded island to conduct the rest of his research. He died few years later in accident when the power of runes broke free and caused his laboratory to explode in a blast of pure magic. Rune, Joakim´s son who was named after the form of magic, took up his father research and developed it further. The life on the island was hard, pirates were continously attacking them, so he created rune weapons, as mean to defend themselves. Only one rule existed for these armaments, they were never to be used as weapons of death and bloodbath. The blacksmiths and his friends who had helped him in the creation of rune weapons formed the base of new monastery that would protect the weak, the Order of the Rune Knights. The monastery still stands on that island, to this day and forward to all eternity.
